Meet the trips organisers you will be working with:
MÓNICA GONZÁLEZ-KLINDWORTH
· School Trips Organiser
I
was born in Hamburg, Germany, and was brought up speaking
both Spanish and German. I have a degree
in English Language and Literature and a PGCE
for teaching English in Spanish secondary schools. I
also have a PGCE from Bristol
University for teaching Spanish and German in
British secondary schools.
I have taught Spanish and German in different secondary
schools in the UK, such as Hayesfield
School in Bath, Sir
Bernard Lovell in Bristol and
Chilton Trinity School in Bridgwater, as well
as in adult education colleges like the
City of Bristol College.
Having family in Spain, Germany and England and close
links in South America, where I worked teaching English
for 2 years, I have always had a passion
for languages, travelling and finding out about
different cultures.
I love my job at Hispanglia because I believe that school
trips boost students’ and teachers’
motivation.
They provide a sense of purpose and a cultural awareness,
which is the real background to the language they are
studying.
IGNACIO DE MIGUEL ·
Cultural Trips Organiser
I
was born in San Sebastian, in the Basque country, in
1971. I obtained my degree
in Mathematics at the University of Malaga. Since I
was young I have had a passion
for travelling and finding out about other cultures.
I have lived in the UK
and in France.
After gaining valuable personal and professional
experience, I decided to return to Spain and
work in tourism,
which is what I enjoy most. I love my job because Hispanglia
gives me the possibility of combining culture
and fun within our trips. It’s a rewarding
job, since it allows me to share my knowledge of Andalusia
and encourage others to explore it further.
